Its always a short time of peace before
the next problem comes up.
Always another fight waiting in the wing
Always a angry voice calling out
I hate this and I wish I could run, to you
and hold you close.
I need you both ever day, you two are the few
That keep me from running from making a seen.
Always another day to live through
Always two arms to run to
Always two friends to love me
You guys and God keep me safe and know me well
I love you and will work hard to live for what its right
Know I want to do the right thing and live so there is
Always a smiling face at the other end
Always a happy ending
Always you two to keep me going
Always a place for us to be…
